Our Mission is to provide a platform, a community and a forum for women of a certain age to discuss relevant topics, share our struggles and celebrate our triumphs.
Women Of A Certain Age was created just for YOU!! This is where we put it all out there and invite you to share – what women of a certain age think, how we feel, what matters most to us, how we live, and how we love. And most importantly, how women of a certain age can continue to RISE, ROCK and RULE together!
Sharon Fletcher Jones
Sharon Fletcher Jones is a true Libra, an action-ist, and a budget fashionista. The Portsmouth, Virginia native is a certified life coach, an associate editor at ONYX Magazine, a life skills instructor for Goodwill Industries/Orange County and a blogger. Sharon produced and hosted The Koffee Klatch, a local radio talk show and an hour-long show on the Jericho Broadcast Network called Conversation Peace, The Talk Show. She worked as a City of Orlando commissioner’s aide, as a consultant in the historic Town of Eatonville, Florida, was the feature writer for the Orlando Advocate Newspaper, and served as managing editor of ONYX Magazine. Sharon enjoys giving back to the community through various civic and charitable efforts including rights restoration for ex-offenders, the annual Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk, the Harbor House for Abused Women and Children, The Odessa Chambliss Quality of Life Foundation and as a member of the Central Florida Association of Black Journalists & Broadcasters. Her own Ladybug Foundation will help provide mental health services to women in need. Stacey’s mom has got it going on, literally. Fletcher Jones’ personal mantra is “It’s the DASH that counts.”
PRODUCER & HOST
Lorraine Hill is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She fell in love with Florida’s tropical trees and sunshine and for more than twenty years she’s made the Sunshine State her home. A retired Army Combat Veteran, Lorraine served as a Communication Operations Specialist. After retiring from active duty, she worked as a civil servant at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Lake Nona, Florida. As a member of the Central Florida Association of Black Journalists, Lorraine produced and co-hosted The Koffee Klatch, a local radio talk show where she provided insights on military life and post military endeavors. She also served as a co-host on Conversation Peace, The Talk Show on the Jericho Broadcast Network. She is a mother, a grandmother and a fur-baby mama to a chihuahua named Peppi. Lorraine loves volunteering and supporting fellow veterans through her work at the USO (United Service Organization). She’s an avid fan and student of ballroom dancing and a member of Toastmasters International. “My focus now is on committed service to our community,” she says.
